David Blount, Broker Associate

A native Jacksonian and licensed broker, David Blount joined the commercial division of The Overby Company in 2012. David serves in a leadership capacity on committees of the Mississippi Association of REALTORS and is a member of the Mississippi Commercial Association of REALTORS. His work with The Overby Company focuses on commercial sales and leasing in the Metro Jackson area.

David is serving his third term in the Mississippi State Senate, where he represents Jackson, Byram, and Terry (District 29). He is a graduate of Leadership Jackson and a member of the Byram Business Association. He also serves on the board of directors of United Way of the Capital Area and the Mississippi Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

David, his wife Katie and their two children attend St. Andrew’s Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Jackson. Whenever possible he enjoys Mississippi Braves game with his son Charley and father-daughter time with Susanna at Starbucks.
